📣 Highlights
SPOTLIGHT: EA Philippines June Komunidad - Organization Series
In this run of the Organization Series, we featured four student-led organizations, EA Blue, EA UPD, and EA Taft. We also heard from a budding local chapter, EA Davao!
We would like to thank Robin and Sunta of EA Blue, Kael of EA Taft, Dani and Jas of EA UPD, and Hanie of EA Davao for sharing their valuable time and insights with us.
We would also like to thank Keoni and Nikko for volunteering to help us in this event!
Updates on Fundraising
EA Philippines' current funding as of June 30, 2024:
Meta Charity Funders: ~Php1,262,500 (out of an expected ~Php2,525,000 that has not been received yet)
EA Philippines has been granted USD43,000 in funding through the Meta Charity Funding Circle. You can read more about it in their second-round retrospective.
We are coordinating with MCF regarding the fact that we have already received funding from other donors (CEA and individual donations) and if they would like to adjust their donations accordingly.
Individual Donations: ~Php204,500
CEA Group Support Funding: ~ Php 395,000
Total amount raised: ~Php3,124,500 (presuming full MCF funding)
Total minimum funding goal: ~Php 1,606,700
Total preferred funding goal: ~Php 2,566,000
This means we’ve currently covered ~123.9% of our preferred funding goal.
Thank you so much to everyone for supporting EA Philippines, its cause, and the community. Funding wasn’t looking too bright a few months ago, but we are happy to say that we have the necessary funds to pursue the plans we’ve set out to do for the year.
