Hi everyone,
Our newsletter this month features an achievement and a first for our community—this is none other than the recently concluded EAGxPhilippines conference.
Included here are photos and information detailing what transpired and the success it embodies for the EA PH community.
Also highlighted here are goals accomplished by EA UP Diliman and EA Blue prior the conference.
As you read this edition of our newsletter, one might perceive the events of this month as merely a goal for some. However, let it be known that this stands as an achievement for many—us, the EA Philippines community.
Highlights
EAGxPhilippines: A First of Many
The EAGxPhilippines conference took place two weeks ago at the Rizal Park Hotel from October 20 to 22. It hosted around 200 attendees from around the world and featured talks on various cause areas by experts in their respective industries.
Being lauded as the first EAGx conference in the Philippines, results from its feedback were announced.
Among other EAGx or EAG conferences held this year, EAGxPhilippines is noted to be the highest of the year when it comes to how likely attendees would recommend the conference, highest on record for being the most welcoming EAG/EAGx conference, and last but not the least, EAGxPhilippines was able to be on track by having the highest average number of new connections per person.
These achievements wouldn't have been possible without the relentless efforts of the EAGxPhilippines organizing team—Elmerei Cuevas, Dion Tan, Xyeanne Million, Kira Chan, Jian Medina Cue, and Zian Bonoan.
We are incredibly grateful for the overall support of the attendees from various EA communities. Thank you for participating in the conference, and once again, we wish you Mabuhay!
Community Builders in Asia Retreat
Two weeks ago, community builders from different EA communities and organizations around the world gathered at the Solace Hotel in Makati for the Community Builders in Asia Retreat.
During the retreat, various talks and one-on-one sessions were held, all aimed at improving the overall welfare of the EA community and its organizations.
Representing the EA PH community were our core team members – Alethea Cendaña, Jaynell Chang, and Brian Tan. Also representing EA PH were Rika Gabriel from Charity Entrepreneurship, Kriz Tahimic from EA Taft, and Xyeanne Million from EA Kuopio.
The retreat was organized by Elmerei Cuevas and Dion Tan, with the assistance of Zian Bonoan, a part of the EAGxPhilippines organizing team.

EA Philippines Anonymous Feedback Form

Feedback here will be visible to the EA Philippines core team: Elmerei Cuevas, Althy Cendaña, Tanya Quijano, Jay Chang, and Brian Tan.
