📣 September 2024 Highlights
SPOTLIGHT: Introductory Fellowship Closing Event
We held our hybrid closing event last September 21. We celebrated the graduation of the program fellows and listened in on the top 3 capstone projects by Castle Reynera, Dane Magaway, and Milo Alon! 👏🎉
Congratulations to all the fellows for taking
this step in understanding what you can do to use evidence and reason to do the most good through your career and actions. It was enlightening to meet all these amazing individuals, hear about their advocacies, and watch their ideas develop through the program.
Here's to a growing community! We are excited to see what the future holds for our group of do-gooders! 🤩

September Komunidad: Alternative Proteins & Animal Welfare
On September 14, EA Philippines held another one of its Organization Series, a collection of talks happening during our monthly Komunidads that aimed at having the community get to know the local EA-aligned organizations.
In this Organization Series, we welcomed speakers from Animal Empathy Philippines and Paro Institute. Participants were able to listen in on these two amazing organizations working in farm animal welfare and alternative proteins, respectively. 🐷🫘

Community Assessment Survey Winners!
To better grasp the needs of the community and guide our decision-making on what programs and events would be most beneficial, EA Philippines released a community survey. 3 survey respondents would be randomly selected to receive a Fully Booked Discount card and the results are in!
We would like to congratulate Keoni Bello, Ronnel Bermas, and Sunta Cadiz for being our 3 lucky winners!

Rather than recommending a single, fixed answer to the question of how we can best help others, I think the value of EA lies in asking that question in the first place and the tools and principles EA provides to help people approach that question.”
